Williams College-Tenure-track position in Latinx Arts
The Latina/o/x Studies Program at Williams College welcomes applications for a tenure-track position in Latinx Arts to start July 1, 2024. Established in 2004, the Latina/o/x Studies Program at Williams College is unique as a free-standing program at a Liberal Arts College. Defining Latinx Arts broadly and interdisciplinarily, areas of interest include Performance Studies, Visual and Material Cultures, Multimedia Art, Contemporary Art Histories, Film, Dance, and Theatre. We also welcome applications that bridge Latinx Arts and other interdisciplinary areas, such as Digital Humanities; Science, Technology, and Society studies; and/or other approaches, such as attention to embodied practices.
The review of applications will begin on October 15, 2023, and continue until the position is filled. We hope to conduct 30-minute virtual interviews with a short list of candidates during the fall semester and then invite finalists to campus interviews in Late November or early December.
