
Williams College – Tenure-Track Position, Latinx Religious Studies
The Latina/o Studies Program at Williams College welcomes applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Latinx religious studies and/or the study of spiritual practices, broadly and interdisciplinarily defined, to start July 1, 2026. Established in 2004, the Latina/o Studies Program at Williams College is unique as a free-standing liberal arts Latinx Studies program in the United States. Areas of interest for the position include Latina/o/x religion, theology, faith/spirituality, and/or sacred spaces and texts, encompassing a range of Latina/o/x beliefs and practices. We welcome attention to Latina/o/x Indigeneities and/or Afro-Latinidades. We also encourage applications that bridge Latinx religious studies and other interdisciplinary fields that employ methodologies grounded in lived experiences and practices.
