University of Georgia – Tenure Track Assistant Prof., Romance Languages

The Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia (https://www.rom.uga.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of U.S. Latinx Studies and Spanish. We seek a scholar whose research and teaching engage these fields through cultural studies approaches and who draws on a broad range of interdisciplinary methods. This position involves teaching language, literature, and culture courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; supporting students in the Spanish B.A. and M.A. programs; and working with doctoral students in the Spanish program and the Romance Languages Department. The successful candidate will maintain an active research agenda, teach two courses per semester, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
